22 Best White Website Examples We Love
Get inspired to create awesome white websites with practical tips and live examples. ✨
Choosing the right color scheme for your website is one of the biggest design decisions you’ll make. It needs to reflect your brand, highlight key elements, and create the right mood for your visitors. A predominantly white color scheme is a go-to for many designers. It makes typography, images, and other visuals pop, gives a clean and simple feel, and helps guide user attention. White backgrounds can make your site look fresh, modern, and timeless.
Now that we’ve talked about why white works so well, let’s dive into 22 live examples of websites using this color scheme beautifully.
1. Heights Digital Agency – Modern Minimal White Website
The first white website we wanted to show you is the business portfolio for the Cayman-based creative agency Heights. It’s very trendy in its minimal aesthetic that fixes the problem with the minimalism in web design we were getting used to a few years ago.
Unlike classic minimalist websites, ones that go for minimal aesthetics are much more dynamic, animated, and anything but boring. Heights uses lazy scrolling, scrolling animations, hover effects, micro-interactions, and even an animated preloader splash screen. They mix typography with images so well, the very site is a presentation in itself.

Visit Website5 Pro Tips on Using White Background in Your Website
White backgrounds can give your site a fresh, clean look, but they also require some thoughtful design choices to make everything shine. Here are a few tips to help you get the most out of a white background:
1. Soften Pure White ✨
Avoid using pure white for large areas, as it can be hard on the eyes. Instead, opt for soft whites or very light shades of gray. This creates a more comfortable viewing experience. You can also adjust your primary brand color’s lightness to 90-99% for a bright, but not harsh, background.
2. Build Contrast ✨
Pair your white background with darker or vibrant colors that stand out. Dark gray or black text works well for readability, while images with bold colors or a subtle border will prevent them from blending into the background.
3. Make Typography the Star ✨
When your design is simple, typography takes center stage. Choose one or two standout fonts and use them thoughtfully to keep things visually engaging. Beautiful, well-chosen type can make a big difference on a white background.
4. Embrace Space ✨
White space is your friend! Give your content plenty of breathing room by adding extra margins around text, images, and other elements. The empty space will make your design feel open and well-balanced.
5. Add a Pop of Color ✨
A touch of color can go a long way against a white background. Use an accent color to highlight key parts of your design, like buttons or calls to action. It’s a simple way to draw attention without overpowering the clean look of your site.
Alrighty, folks, that’s a wrap!
Using a white color scheme might seem simple, but the website examples above show how effective it can be. White backgrounds make visuals and text stand out, create a clean and inviting layout, and help present information in a way that’s easy to digest. It’s a classic choice that keeps things fresh, modern, and user-friendly, encouraging visitors to engage and explore.
