Shopify Audit Terms and Conditions
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using our free Shopify site audit service (“Service”), you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Our audit provides practical and strategic recommendations by evaluating the following key areas:
- Page Load Speed Analysis
- Accessibility Checks
- Design & Mobile Responsiveness
- Navigation & Usability Suggestions
- Conversion Optimization Tips
- Custom Insights Tailored to Your Store
3. Eligibility and Requirements
3.1 Company Email Address
To request an audit, you must provide a valid company email address associated with the Shopify website subject to the audit. If requested, you must demonstrate a direct affiliation with the website.
3.2 No Audits for Third-Party Clients
Audit requests submitted on behalf of third-party clients will not be accepted.
Example: If a marketing agency submits an audit request for a Shopify store owned by one of its clients, the request will be declined. The audit must be requested directly by the business that owns the Shopify website.
3.3 Real Name Requirement
You must provide your legal first and last name when submitting an audit request.
3.4 Excessive Areas for Improvement
If the Shopify store requires fundamental restructuring or extensive corrections that amount to a complete overhaul, we reserve the right to decline the audit request.
3.5 Audit Delivery Time
The estimated audit delivery time is approximate and may be subject to change. We do not guarantee a specific turnaround time.
3.6 Communication Requirements
Failure to provide timely and clear responses to requested information may result in audit refusal. We reserve the right to decline an audit if the requester does not maintain proper and prompt communication.
3.7 Use of Free Themes
If your Shopify store is using a free theme (e.g., Dawn), we reserve the right to decline the audit request or recommend an alternative course of action. Free themes often lack the flexibility, performance optimization, and built-in conversion features found in premium themes. As a result, auditing and improving a free theme may require disproportionate time and resources. In such cases, we may suggest switching to a premium theme as a more effective and sustainable solution.
4. No Guarantee of WCAG Compliance
While our audit may include accessibility checks, we do not certify, warrant, or guarantee that our recommendations will bring your Shopify website into compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) or any other accessibility standards, laws, or regulations. You remain solely responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
5. Service Provided "As Is"
The audit is provided "as is", without any warranties, express or implied. We make no representations regarding:
- The accuracy, completeness, or effectiveness of the audit recommendations.
- The merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of any aspect of the Service.
- The impact of the audit recommendations on business performance, website functionality, or compliance with laws and regulations.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages—including, but not limited to, lost revenue, lost profits, data loss, or business interruption—arising from or related to the use of our Service.
7. User Responsibility
You are solely responsible for any decisions, modifications, or implementations made based on the audit findings. We strongly recommend consulting with a professional before making significant changes to your website.
8. Intellectual Property Rights
All content, materials, and data provided through the Service—including but not limited to audit reports, graphics, text, and documentation—are the exclusive property of 2 Create Ltd DBA htmlBurger and are protected under applicable intellectual property laws.
Without prior written consent, you may not:
- Reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any portion of the audit report.

- Modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time, with or without notice.
- Update or amend these Terms at our discretion. Continued use of the Service after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to deny, suspend, or terminate access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if:
